Healthy is a Habit Challenge Update

Hello all, good morning! I wanted to come and post an update as to how the Healthy is a Habit Challenge is going. I have had some great feed back from others that have come on board with me for the year long journey, of renewal and re-direction of life. I am so glad to have each and every one of the participants with me for the ride! We started the challenge officially on December 1, 2012, but I started a little earlier.

We are now coming up on the two week mark for the challenge and for me, it has been great so far. I have been able to fit in 15 mins of fitness activity everyday, with my busy schedule this is a great improvement! I have been able to increase my water intake, which was pretty low in the dumps. I am super excited about meeting this goal. I have also been trying out the vegetarian lifestyle since thanksgiving and I need my chicken and fish! So its back to the **Pollo-Vegetarian lifestyle.

If you would like to join the challenge, come on join in!! It’s never to late to make a change!!

I want to give a big shout out to all the participants on Facebook and the Curly Nikki boards! You all are doing super fabulous with your goals so far!! Be encouraged and keep pushing forward!

**Did you say to yourself while reading, What is a Pollo- Vegetarian?? Here is the definition from the Urban Dictionary.

A Pollo-Vegetarian is someone who occasionally eats chicken or fish, but does NOT eat red meat AT ALL. This is still healthy(since red meat is VERY bad for you). They are a TYPE of vegetarian, but not a full-fledged one. They should NOT be called “Posers”, that is utter nonsense, because being vegetarian is a type of eating, and seriously you can’t be called a poser when it comes to your diet.
You could be called “cheater” if you eat red meat then keep calling yourself Pollo-Vegetarian. Please stop hating on the Pollo-Vegetarians, and be glad they aren’t feasting on dead cows at McDonald’s.
