Restaurant Review: The Stacked Pickle Bar & Grill

My girlfriends and I enjoy getting together for outings at least two Saturdays out of each month. We select a place to have lunch, go shopping, an event to attend, or a mixture of them all. Yesterday, we decided to do a mix of lunch and then attend an event. We agreed on having lunch at the Stacked Pickle, which was great because neither one of us had eaten there. I am a person that loves a great burger, wings, and a beer just like the next guy or gal. So I was excited about trying out the great food I had been hearing wonderful reviews on from the Stacked Pickle.

Once inside, we were greeted with a nice welcoming hello from the hostess who happen to be our server. The place was not packed as it was pretty early in the afternoon when we went to have lunch (like twelveish). We beat the lunch crowd. As we were sitting the crowd started to trickle in. The atmosphere was very inviting and had that true sports bar feel to it. There were banners of local colleges and the city’s NFL and NBA teams hanging from the ceiling. There were also flat screen televisions through out the restaurant. They even had quirky sayings framed and hung around the establishment too.

The Eats
Stacked Pickle has a great menu of great tasty eats with healthy options to wet your palate. They even have an awesome selection of beers for the beer lover in you as well. After reviewing the menu, I decided to test drive on of their signature burgers. The burger I chose to sink my taste buds into was their Mob-Ster burger. This quarter pound burger was topped with mushrooms, sautéed onions, crispy bacon, and a slice of Swiss cheese. The burger was served with their famous beer-battered fries, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a pickle spear on the side. The burger was delicious! It was super juicy and the fries were very crisp.

My friend ordered some Teriyaki wings which came with celery and ranch dressing on the side. They were very tasty! The wings had the right amount of sauce to chicken ratio and they were very succulent. The Teriyaki flavor was not over powering at all.

Overall, we had an exceptional experience dinning at the Stacked Pickle for lunch. The prices were very reasonable and the service was awesome! I would defiantly dine there again.
