I enjoy cooking for my family, but during the summer it’s hot and who wants to slave in a hot kitchen. So, during these months you have to get really creative with preparing meals. You definitely want the meals to be fast, healthy, simple, and most of all delicious!
My family and I love seasoned baked chicken. However, in the summertime, I really don’t feel like cranking up the oven. Here’s where Stouffer’s Seasoning Wraps come into play. You’ll get tasty perfectly seasoned chicken right on top of the stove in less time.
I have always been a fan of Stouffer’s products since I was a kid growing up. My mother would occasionally buy one of their family meals for a day when she wanted a break from cooking. They were very good! As I grew older, I still rely on them for meal ideas. Stouffer’s sent me over some of their wraps for me to try with my family. They even sent some of their Sauce Duos, but I’ll talk about them in another post.
The Stouffer’s Seasoning Wraps are great for those super hot days when you don’t want to cook but want to put something amazing on the table for your family to enjoy. You can’t go wrong with these at all. They come in a variety of flavors too. Also, you have a family of four you’re good to go, as four seasoning wraps come in each package.
To use the wraps, you will need a package of boneless chicken breast, that has been flattened (I just cut mine in half down the middle). Then you’ll take one piece of the chicken, place it inside the wrap ( I used Roasted Tomato Herb and Italian Countryside Herb) and fold the wrap over. You will repeat this step for all of the chicken breast. Note: Be gentle with handling the seasoning wrap so your seasonings won’t fly off your wrap.
Next, you want to preheat your pan and place your chicken in the pan. The instructions say that you don’t need any cooking oil, but I feel that you would need just a touch of oil to keep it from burning the drippings in the pan. You could also use a non-stick pan as well. You’ll cook your chicken about 20-25 minutes or until done to your liking.
My family and I really enjoyed the seasoning wraps from Stouffer’s. I do recommend that you try the Stouffer’s Seasoning Wraps out for yourself. You can find them at your local Walmart. If you have already tried them, tell me your thoughts in the comments. I’d love to hear how you liked them.
